  My husband and I have been married for 20 years. We've learned what it means to wait upon the Lord and His timing and direction for our lives. Our lessons came through our struggles with infertility. We have two beautiful daughters and a son, ages 15, 9, and 19 months. All our children have come to us through separate open adoptions. All adoptions turned out to be beautiful, loving and positive experiences. No one could have imagined such joy could come through such seemingly impossible situations. Bailey's Story My husband and I are currently praying about extending our family through embryo adoption. We feel that every child deserves life; even at the earliest stage. Our children and their birth stories testify to the beauty of open adoption and the faithfulness of the Lord. His working in our life is undeniable. We live within a generation full of hurting women faced with unplanned pregnancy, trauma from abortion, and struggling with infertility. We feel called to love them and reach out to these women with open arms. With all that the Lord has shown us, we know we’re to be more than just a family; we are to be a voice for those without one and a message for the hurting to hear. Our family is proof that joy is found through surrendering to the Lord’s plan. Our desire is to reach beyond barriers and touch lives that desperately need to be touched. Through the telling of our story, we've found opportunities to share the reason for our hope. I believe, very strongly, that the impact of the message we share will change lives. I'm called to speak and will go wherever the Lord opens a door. Our truth will testify of what the Lord can and will do with a life surrendered to Him.
